As long as you make sure you’re using an oil-based Nice LGBT Plane Nasa Logo Shirt primer under an oil-based finish, you can tint the primer to help coverage and potentially reduce the number of coats of your finish. The exact answer would depend on the color you’re after. For anything in the neighborhood of a red, you’d definitely want a grey-tinted primer. If you’re using a lighter, neutral color, we’d usually recommend a primer tinted to between 25-50% of the finish color. The gray vs white concept is the same for latex and oil-based products. For the sake of the question, I’ve always used an Oil Based Gloss.

Oh god, metallic paints are the worst! Oops, did Nice LGBT Plane Nasa Logo Shirt something you sprayed gold get scratched? Can’t touch it up with a brush, it’ll look like a totally different color. Can’t touch it up with an airbrush, the spray pattern is noticeably different. Can’t even touch it up with the same HVLP gun you used to spray it in the first place, because the edge of the sprayed area will have a halo effect where the aerosolized paint dried quicker! Thankfully I only had to work with them a few times, and we always sprayed them over white primer on fiberglass or urethane.
