As a Good Wainwright Molina 2020 Shirt straight white male, I am fighting for every marginalized group’s civil rights and have been as long as I have been able to. In 6th grade in the 90s, I beat up another white kid on the basketball court because he called my black friend the n-word. The reason this message is to LGBT+ folks is that a lot of people sit out. Fuck, I legally changed my name and later that year went to vote and the people at the polls refused to allow me to vote unless I signed my deadname. Like, they looked at the paperwork I brought and acknowledged I was the right person.
Good Wainwright Molina 2020 Shirt, Tank Top, V-neck, Sweatshirt, And Hoodie
But explicitly said that Good Wainwright Molina 2020 Shirt if my signature didn’t read my deadname when I signed to take my ballot they wouldn’t give it to me. This is AFTER a legal name change, when I had papers in my hand from a circuit court judge affirming it… I couldn’t. I wouldn’t humiliate myself over it. Yes, our lives depend on it, but most people saying “suck the dick to vote if you have to” have never been physically forced to do so in the past. Out of all the traumatizing events I’ve had in my life, that was probably the most incensing and absolutely terrible ones.
