I’m friends with or have talked to is that you don’t need to date/be attracted to them to respect them. No reasonable LGBT person/ally should treat you as a term for having a genital preference. I totally agree with you, many of my trans friends have had the same thoughts about it as yours. It’s actually been mostly by cis LGBTQ+ who have strong feelings about it weirdly enough. IKR, sometimes some toxic LGBT people complain about being made fun of or bullied because of being LGBT.

As a lesbian myself who’s never been attracted to men. When other lesbians or well people in general, say things about men like “why does she like him over me” and show as a funny picture of a guy, it’s funny. But sometimes, they just label all men as predators, and all men aren’t predators. There are lesbian predators too, why are you excluding certain people. Because they’re similar to you, but have done the same thing you’re complaining about. it does get annoying.
