Worked my way up and Beautiful I Need Coffee Right Meow Vintage Shirt now I’m ‘running’ at a 6.5 mph pace for the whole 500 after about 5 or 6 months. Sometimes do a 10000 to keep the challenge there. Total weight loss is about 45 lbs, 30 in the last 3 months. I’m lucky to have healthy knees. Each mile burns about 110 calories according to Garmin. So I don’t run for the calories, mostly the heart and mental health benefits. Though it does remind me how hard it is to work off 100 calories. I think it helps me not eat as much. Sorry if I came off arrogant, just that running is my thing now and it’s easier to get into than people think.

I find running to be very therapeutic. I used to get really bad shin splints in tank school, but I couldn’t exactly stop in the middle of PT so I had to push through it.
